Bourg de Visa:
A small local village close to the Gaulish spring 'source de St Quinin with restaurant, small supermarket bank and Boulangerie.
Villeneuve-sur-Lot: A powerful bastide on the banks of the Lot river. Founded in 1264 it has preserved a large quantity of small streets and half-timbered buildings. Close by is a superb 18 hole golf course.

Reillas is the country home of a famous artist who resides permanently in a wing of the house and works from his studio. It is situated on a plateau at the end of a small lane with panoramic views across the undulating countryside. Guests can sit in the delightful gardens and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the house and its surroundings. The restoration of the old Quercy farmhouse has been very tastefully done and contains many of the artist's works. Nearest main towns: Moissac and Agen: 30 minutes

Accommodation: The front stone staircase leads up onto a little terrace and into the sitting room that has oak beams and stone walls. It retains its lovely stone walls and oak beams and has a wood-burning stove, tv, and a double convertible couch. The spacious kitchen has a open fireplace with a wood-burning stove and is equipped with a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, gas cooker, general electrical equipment, table and chairs. Internal stone stairs, which can be closed off by lowering a false floor lead from the sitting room down to the ground floor bathroom below.

The lower floor of the house has a glass covered porch way that opens into both the twin bedroom and the main double bedroom that has attractive stone walls, a little restored bread oven and tv. This bedroom leads into a central hallway that has a desk and wardrobes. It also has a separate laundry area that has a washing machine, sink and ironing board.

A separate lower entrance opens into the large bathroom that has a quarry tiled floor and a feature Victorian roll-top bath. The front lawn has table and chairs for alfresco dining. The pool is situated in full sunshine and has leisure furniture and parasols.
