Fumel: Named after Françoise de Fumel, once captain of the kings guard and Catherine de'Medici's ambassador to Constantinople, it has a good range of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and a cinema.
Villeneuve-sur-Lot: A powerful bastide on the banks of the Lot river. Founded in 1264 it has preserved a large quantity of small streets and half-timbered buildings. Close by is a superb 18 hole golf course.
Tournon d'Agenais: Pretty Royal bastide village from 1271 and on the route of St Jaques de Compostella with a lovely square and belfry tower superb views, leisure lake, restaurants, small supermarket and seasonal market

"Even after 14 years, the views of the 13c bastide village of Tournon and the undulating countryside can still make us just want to "stand and stare" - they are superb, whatever the season. To walk in the woods and fields and see the red squirrels and occasionally a deer, or a large hare and to watch the hunting birds high in the sky are moments to treasure. We hope that our guests enjoy them too, and take time out of their busy lives to relax and recharge their batteries."

Lespaze is set in 16 acres with magnificent views of the XIII Royal bastide village of Tournon d'Agenais and surrounding countryside. It offers three high quality cottages renovated from a Quercy Barn and is set amongst fields and woods with plenty of space for children to play safely. The cottages are light, attractive and well furnished. Each cottage has its own terrace with BBQ and garden furniture and there are additional terraces around the pool. Nearest main town: Villeneuve-sur-Lot - 20 minutes
  

Accommodation: All cottages have a large lounge and dining area and a well equipped kitchen that has a gas cooker with oven, fridge and microwave. Shower-room with wc and basin. Separate wc with basin. Upper floor Bedrooms: Lot: One double, one twin and one with a double and single bed. Garonne: One double and two twin. Tarn: One double, one twin and one triple. Close to the cottages is a utility barn that has a washing machine, deep sink and a chest freezer.

The games barn has excellent facilities: darts, table-tennis, bikes, games, puzzles and a TV/video, with French channels and English satellite. The badminton and volleyball net is situated in the field where children can play ball games. A small fun boules court overlooks the valley with wonderful views of Tournon.
