Les Chenes was constructed in the 1980’s and is a very substantial house that stands in five acres of land, that is mainly woodland. The house was designed and built by a local artisan and offers spacious accommodation and privacy for family groups. It is situated on a very quiet country lane just 3 kilometres from the historic village of Frayssinet le Gelat, which has a boulangerie, restaurant and small supermarket.  The towns of Prayssac and Fumel have larger supermarkets and ranges of shops, and Cahors – the county town of the Lot is 30 minutes.  Nearest main towns:  Fumel and Prayssac – 20 minutes.

Accommodation:  The front entrance porch opens into a very large hallway with stairs to the upper floor.  To the right is a small second sitting room with a double convertible settee.  The very spacious kitchen/breakfast room is fully equipped with table and chairs with doors opening into the gardens.  It has a dishwasher, gas range with gas hob, fridge,/freezer, microwave and various electrical equipment.  It is ideal for guests who enjoy cooking local cuisine on holiday.

At the rear of the hallway is a double bedroom and a shower room with wc and basin.  There is a large storage room and a utility room with a washing machine.

Upper Floor: The main sitting room and dining room is extremely spacious and has an open fire tucked into one alcove. It has a television, DVD and CD player. Doors open from the sitting room onto a large terrace that is a sun trap and is ideal for sun bathing. There is a built-in barbeque making it ideal for al fresco dining.

The upper floor has two double bedrooms, two twin bedrooms and a bedroom with bunk beds. The main shower room has a shower, basin and wc. There is a separate wc with basin, and an additional shower room.

To the side of the property is an above ground swimming pool that measures 10 x 5 metres.  It has a ladder to one end.  The depth of the pool is about 4foot all over.
