Lairole is a delightful stone Quercy stone farmhouse with a central pigeonnier, that has been fully renovated and modernised, whilst retaining its original character, with traditional stonework, ancient beams, vaulted ceilings and fireplaces. It is perched on a hillside with lovely views over the valley. Situated in an acre of mature gardens and orchard it offers seclusion and tranquillity to its guests, but has the benefit of being close to local amenities.  Montaigu de Quercy (5kms) has a local Saturday morning market, range of local shops and amenities and a leisure lake for swimming and tennis and restaurants. Nearest main towns: Agen & Villeneuve-sur-Lot -25 minutes.

Accommodation:  The covered porchway opens into the central hallway that has a cloakroom to the left with wc and basin. To the right is the utility room with washing machine and dryer. At the rear of the hall is the open plan sitting room with kitchen and dining areas. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, hob, oven, fridge and food processor and is well stocked for crockery, cutlery and utensils. The spacious sitting room opens onto the attractive outside dining terrace that overlooks the pool and gardens and has a table and chairs for ten people, TV, video, DVD, music system and games consoles.

At the rear of the sitting room are the downstairs bedrooms. The double bedroom opens onto the terrace and has an en-suite bathroom with bath with shower over, basin and wc. There is a bedroom with four single beds which has en-suite shower room with wc and basin. The second double bedroom has an extra sofabed and en-suite shower-room with wc and basin.

Stairs from the living room lead to the upper floor that has a second sitting room that has a large fireplace with log burning stove, vaulted ceiling with original oak beams, and a door to a pretty private balcony that has lovely views. The master double bedroom is off the second sitting room. It has doors to the balcony and has a vaulted ceiling, fireplace and an en-suite bathroom with bath with shower attachment and wc. Lairole has full central heating for winter lets as well as log fires.

The pool has a paved terrace with a patio with wet-bar, fridge/freezer, sun loungers and table/chairs and umbrellas. W.c. The different patios and facilities offer guests the chance to relax and be private, while the grounds are ideal for children to play, making Lairole perfect for a family holiday.
