Moissac: On the banks of the Tarn river this bustling town with lively weekend markets, is famous for its Romanesque Abbey and Cloisters.
Lauzerte: Nicknamed the Toledo of Quercy, its interesting square, which looks as if it's been turned up like a page of a book, sits in the centre of this lovely bastide village that has a choice of restaurants and shops.
Montaigu-de-Quercy: Was the site of a 12c castle built by Raymond V of Toulouse. Now this atmospheric lively village has a range of local shops, a traditional Saturday French market and a large leisure lake.

Laboissieres is situated in the heart of the ‘Quercy Blanc’ region with its gentle undulating hills and stunning views. The house dates from the 18c and has two wings with a terrace on each side. This imposing residence has spacious rooms that are comfortably furnished. It is situated in two hectares of parkland with many trees that are over a hundred years old and has magnificent views of the surrounding countryside. The medieval bastide village of Lauzerte is just 5kms. Nearest main town: Moissac – 20 minutes

 

Accommodation: The main entrance opens into the central hallway. The kitchen and dining room are to the left of the hallway. The huge kitchen retains its traditional old stone sink for ornamental purposes. It has a central dining table and chairs and is generally well equipped with fridge, freezer, microwave and electric cooker. The kitchen opens into the formal dining room which leads into the sitting room that has a stone fireplace and tall windows that overlook the front courtyard. The principal bedroom has a king size bed and opens into the rear hallway that has doors to front terrace and is also used as a laundry room. Cloakroom with wc. This wing of the house contains the main bathroom with a bath, separate shower, and a double bowl sink unit. Second double bedroom. Two twin bedrooms with adjoining bathroom with wc.
