Le Jardin Secret is located in the medieval bastide village of Lauzerte, which has a good range of local shops and restaurants and an interesting square.  It is situated on three levels and the gardens are extensively planted with over 300 different plants which include five varieties of grapes and other garden fruits  The long covered terrace and the horizon swimming pool have magnificent views across the surrounding countryside. Due to the style of the house and grounds it is not suitable for children.  Nearest main towns:  Moissac and Valence d’Agen: 25 minutes.

Accommodation:  The medieval doorway opens into a gallery which leads into a light and spacious central sitting and dining room which has windows and doors to the garden and pool.  This delightful room is overlooked by a minstrel’s gallery that leads to the master bedroom that has an en-suite shower-room and wc.  The gallery has a decorative iron balustrade and because of the shape of the main oak beam below there are gaps between the bottom of the balustrade and the beam.  The summer kitchen at the rear of the room is perfectly placed as it open onto the covered terrace that has a built in BBQ.

To the rear of the main room is the television/library/music room, and guests are welcome to use the owners collection of music and videos. etc. The main kitchen opens to the left of the sitting room. It has a fridge, freezer, gas cooking range, and table and chairs. There is also a second sitting room and a wc with basin on this floor. The winding staircase and banisters (just under 3ft) lead up through the four floors of the house.

The first floor has a double bedroom with a pretty fireplace. En-suite bathroom: bath, shower, bidet sink and wc. The second double bedroom has a built-in cabin bed and an en-suite shower room with basin and wc.

The second floor has two more double bedrooms. The main bedroom has an en-suite shower-room with power shower, wc and vanity unit. The second bedroom has a built-in cabin bed and an en-suite shower with wc.

The sixth bedroom is situated in the studio apartment which is opposite the main sitting room and is adjacent to the garden..  It has a small kitchen with a gas hob and fridge and microwave/oven. There is a double bed, and shower-room with wc and basin.  A ramp can be provided for wheelchairs for this apartment.

The gardens are secluded and full of many hidden corners.  Among the lush greenery there is a multiforium fountain that provides music and dancing waters.
