Buggs car hire, based in Montflanquin, are an English run local car hire specialist with desks and vehicles at Bergerac, Limoges and La Rochelle airports only.

Other car hire companies
Based just off the road between Touffailles and Montaigu de Quercy, Velo Plus hire and repair high quality bicyles for road and off road use, as well as offering a professional repair service. Run by Tom Burns, a trained cycle mechanic, and his wife Katherine, delivery and collection within reasonable distances is available, and they also stock a small range of energy drinks and foods designed for cyclists.

The highlight of the holiday for many: Quite the best way to buy the freshest and most delicious produce direct from the suppliers. Enjoy a couple of hours at the market before returning for a lazy picnic lunch round the pool with the finest of meat on the barbecue, the freshest of bread, delicious cheeses, charcuterie, fruit, vegetables and so much more! Mike & Sue Small welcome you to Domaine du Garinet (near Le Boulvé) to taste their quality wines. They are not only wine producers but also have walnut and plum orchards - if you are lucky, you will get there on a baking day!
Jean-Francois and Geneviève Meyan welcome you to Chateau Latuc near Mauroux to sample their fine wines
You won't miss the giant wine bottles along the roads east of Tournon d'Agenais leading to Vin du Tsar near Thézac.

This is run by Jean-Pierre Caumont and his English wife Claire, and their enterprise also includes organic cereal production. Visitors are welcome by appointment, or you can order their excellent wines from their website.
The historic Chateau de Chambert , near Floressas ( almost in the centre of the triangle Tournon d'Agenais, Fumel, Prayssac) has been producing wine since 1690, and is one of the areas leading quality wine producers, with a position in the World's Top 50 wines for 2016. There is a very informative English & French Website, and open for tours, tastings, on site and online sales - and set in the most beautiful countryside of the south side of the Lot valley.

Café du Centre at Roquecor is a lively bar/restaurant popular with the Expat community. Always plenty going on here - See their website for the latest news of events and other specials going on right in the heart of Roquecor.
Situated right by the crossroads in Montaigu de Quercy, Le Midi has a good French menu at reasonable cost, as well as being a pleasant place to stop for a drink and to watch the world go by.
The menu includes a wide range of local specialities to suit all budgets and tastes.
Hôtel les Voyageurs at Tournon D'Agenais is run by chef/patron Denis and his wife Valerie, and the restaurant has a great reputation for quality food.
As part of the Logis hotel chain, it is also a very reasonable overnight stay, and the buffet breakfast including home made jams and local honeys makes a great start to the day.
The Café de France offer a good menu in pleasant surroundings in the centre of Montcuq - another place where you are likely to hear as many English voices as French!
In a glorious setting near Tournon d'Agenais, Château l'Hoste is a great choice for a special celebration meal
Auberge de Brelan is just off the main road between Tournon d'Agenais and Agen, and is a family friendly place, with set children's menus available
Auberge de Lauzinie is attached to a riding and equitation centre between Bourg de Visa and Lacour de Visa - Guests have recommended the gambas here.
Au P'tit Moissac - Highly recommended by our Owners - Advance booking essential we are told. Gourmet meals from local produce. Deep in the countryside between Touffailles and Bourg de Visa at Moissaguel - Not Moissac!!!
