Valence d'Agen: A pretty town with a lovely fountained square. Originally a 1283 bastide it has a good range of shops & restaurants and a 9 hole golf club.
Moissac: On the banks of the Tarn river this bustling town with lively weekend markets, is famous for its Romanesque Abbey and Cloisters.
Lauzerte: Nicknamed the Toledo of Quercy, its interesting square, which looks as if it's been turned up like a page of a book, sits in the centre of this lovely bastide village that has a choice of restaurants and shops.
Montaigu-de-Quercy: Was the site of a 12c castle built by Raymond V of Toulouse. Now this atmospheric lively village has a range of local shops a typical French market each Saturday and a large leisure lake.

Genouillac is a charming stone Quercy house that has been lovingly restored and has a warm welcoming ambience. Around the house, garden and pool areas are many interesting pieces of pottery and art. At the rear of the pool is a traditional pigeonnier tower and also a small pond. The views from the pool and terrace are of undulating countryside and the ancient bastide village of Lauzerte (2km). Lauzerte has a good range of shops, and local amenities. During the holiday season there are many concerts, festivals and markets in Lauzerte and the busy village of Montcuq. Nearest main towns: Moissac & Valence d'Agen - 25 minutes
 

Accommodation: There is a long terrace to the front of the house that enters into the dining room and kitchen. The dining room has a delightful little old stove and table and chairs. The kitchen is well equipped and has a fridge, freezer, microwave, electric oven and gas hob, and an expresso machine. The sitting room is well furnished and has striking paintings and objets d'art. It has a central stone fireplace with wood burning stove. There is a double bedroom on the lower floor that opens onto the terrace. The bathroom with bath and basin, and the shower-room with wc are on the lower floor.

The upper floor of the house has two bedrooms: One double and one with a double and a single bed. The terrace has tables and chairs and there is a gas BBQ. Genouillac is perfect for guests who wish to unwind and enjoy its peace and atmosphere.
