Contensou was originally a 19th Century agricultural holding, and after 12 years of renovation we have kept the original charm of the old stone buildings. We are pleased to offer you the calm and tranquillity of 30 hectares of woodland and grounds where there are small wild animals and where you can walk and cycle. Not far are the local villages with cinema, museums, sports activities, local fetes, and restaurants. Everything, or practically everything, that will remind you of the culture of the people of the Tarn et Garonne. Contensou retains the charm of another time even after years of renovation."

Contensou is situated close to the Aveyron Gorge in over forty acres of woods, grounds and barns. The houses have been tastefully renovated and include full central heating, double glazing and a terraced swimming pool. They offer privacy and seclusion with lots of woodland walks and the chance to study local fauna and flora. The Dolmens of St Antonin make a fascinating visit and the wonderful hilltop village of Cordes is a must. For the active there are many water sports including canoeing in the fabulous Aveyron Gorge. Accommodation: Lavande. Attractive sitting and dining room with stone walls, oak beams and open fireplace. The kitchen is divided from the main room by a work and storage unit with fridge and cooker. The steep staircase from the sitting rooms leads to a mezzanine double bedroom that has a low ceiling. The ground floor second double bedroom has a double and a single bed. Shower-room with wc and basin.
