Valence d'Agen: A pretty town with a lovely fountained square. Originally 
a 1283 bastide it has a good range of shops & restaurants and a 9 hole 
golf club.
Moissac: On the banks of the Tarn river this bustling town with lively weekend markets, is famous for its Romanesque Abbey and Cloisters.
Lauzerte: Nicknamed the Toledo of Quercy, its interesting square, which looks as if it's been turned up like a page of a book, sits in the centre of this lovely bastide village that has a choice of restaurants and shops.
Montaigu-de-Quercy: Was the site of a 12c castle built by Raymond V of Toulouse. Now this atmospheric lively village has a range of local shops a typical French market each Saturday and a large leisure lake.

Les Arbres is a substantial house with well planted mature grounds with country views. It is pleasantly situated in an elevated position, in a tiny hamlet just outside Montaigu de Quercy. It has two levels which are independent of each other, but are connected by a central closed staircase. It is ideal for two families sharing a holiday, as each has a private entrance and individual facilities. Full central heating. Nearest main town: Moissac - 20 minutes.
 

Accommodation: Hallway with cloakroom with wc. and stairs to the lower floor. The kitchen (NEW FOR 2007) is fully fitted and has a microwave, electric hob and oven and table and chairs. The rear lobby has a fridge/freezer and opens into garage area and covered verandah. The sitting room has a central fireplace, two large leather sofas, tv and DVD and a spacious dining area that has French doors onto the terrace. 

The little office (which can be used as an additional single bedroom) has a door onto an attractive balcony that overlooks the pool and gardens. On this floor are two double bedrooms and a twin bedroom with a single bed and a child’s bed. Bathroom: double bowl sink unit, bath with shower attachment, and bidet. 

Lower Floor: The spacious living room with tv and DVD leads through to the kitchen that has an electric hob and combination microwave/oven and a table and chairs. It opens onto the lower patio/pool area and the gardens. The rear lobby that has a fridge freezer with door into the rear storage/boiler room.

There are two bedrooms on this floor, one double and one with full size bunk beds. The hallway has a cloakroom with wc. and a range of storage cupboards. Shower-room with sink unit. Utility room with second shower, washing machine, tumble dryer and sink unit. 

Outside: The pool (NEW IN 2006), situated on the south side of the house with all-day sun, is terraced and surrounded by wonderful gardens and lavender bushes. The lower patio is equipped with an outdoor table and chairs with sun-umbrella together with a table-tennis table which is folded away when not in use. There a six comfortable sun-loungers. To the north side of the house is a 14ft trampoline shaded by numerous trees. The upper verandah is partially open ( with afternoon sun) and partially covered where there is a dining table for 10 and built-in barbecue. Close by is a full-size petanque pitch – boules are provided – with small table and chairs (ideal to enjoy an aperitif over a match!).
